Help Before the ER!
VetTriage is a Teletriage service to provide you with help when something goes wrong after-hours. You will be able to speak with a licensed Veterinarian via a video chat to give you advice.
If your pet needs to go to the ER, they will help facilitate that by calling from our list of recommended ER and Urgent Care facilities in the area and making sure they are open for new cases and have information on the level of emergency involved. If you don’t need to go to the ER, they can also provide basic advice and treatments to help until you see us.
They will send us information from your call so we can prioritize the emergent cases the next business day. It will cost you $50 for the call and could save you a lot of time and expense from the ER if it isn’t necessary.

Vet Referral, aka “The Barn”, is a specialty veterinary hospital where internal medicine, surgery, oncology, radiation oncology, ophthalmology, cardiology and 24 hour intensive care are all available to your pet.
VetUrgency
Vet Urgency is located in the same facility as one of our trusted surgical specialists. They treat more routine problems until midnight and not critical care issues that would need 24hr hospitalization and/or surgeries overnight. It’s great for those little things that come up after we close and cannot wait until the next morning.

Metropolitan Emergency Animal Clinic
MEAC has been around a very long time as an emergency clinic in this area. They are located fairly close to White Flint Mall which is a bit far from Clarksburg, but still a good option. During normal business hours, this facility operates an excellent cardiology clinic.
Emergency Animal Hospital of Ellicott City
While Ellicott city sounds far, they are only 30 minutes away from Clarksburg. They are also easy to find – only 1 mile away from their exit on Route I-70 East.
