Dr. Rapp grew up in Germantown, went to the University of Wisconsin in Madison for vet school, and came back to Montgomery County after graduating in 2018. Before owning Clarksburg Animal Hospital he served on the veterinary staff of a few different hospitals, primarily Olney Sandy Spring Veterinary Hospital, where he honed his medical, dental and surgical skills.
He is working toward board certification by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Canine & Feline Practice, which takes years of experience, challenging cases, and conferences to stay up to date on the latest in veterinary medicine.
He lives in Columbia with his wife, Gwen, and their four cats: Ivy, Claire, Floyd and Juniper.

Dr. Rapp works alongside an experienced, dedicated and friendly crew. During every dental cleaning, for example, one technician cleans and polishes, a second is dedicated to monitoring anesthesia, and a veterinarian is present the entire time.
